Job Purpose

Administration, Management and Monitoring of the DDoS appliances/services provided to Enterprise customers.

Inform the customers and take the action to mitigate the attacks within the agrees SLA with the customers.

To support in identify, analyzing and reporting the alerts to customers.

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities

  • Monitoring the DDoS Alerts
  • Inform the Enterprise customers and take the action on time to mitigate the attacks within agreed SLA.
  • Fine tuning of the parameters to reduce the false positive alerts
  • Compliance and Governance of Enterprise DDoS
  • Timely upgrade of Enterprise DDoS appliances
  • Patch Management, Capacity Management, Incident Management, SLA Management, Vulnerability Management, License Management
  • Interact with vendor partners and Enterprise customers such as NetScout for the health check, Support, new requirements etc. and with customers to review of the configuration i.e GRE Tunnel, Host Detection Parameters, Escalation Matrix etc.
  • End to end co-ordination, communication, follow-up and timely update to all involved parties.
  • Reporting, Publishing the reports to Customers and Vi Teams
  • Maintain quality service by following organization standards

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience

  • Knowledge and hands-on experience and management of any security tools i.e DDoS, SIEM, IDS/IPS, Firewall, WAF or any other security products
  • Experience in monitoring of the tools, administration/management of the tools mentioned above
  • Should have expertise on TCP/IP network traffic
  • Knowledge of ITIL disciplines such as Incident, Problem and Change Management
  • Able to communicate efficiently with both internal and external stakeholders

Must have technical / professional qualifications

B Tech/ BE / BCA / MCA with 2-5 years of experience
