Job Purpose	To build and deliver data analytics test cases for internal audit function which would help to increase audit function’s effectiveness and efficiency, help provide to internal audit team for smooth completion of multiple ongoing audits.
Key Result Areas/Accountabilities	Audit analytics – planning In depth consultation and discussion with Internal Audit team to understand the objective of the audit test scenarios and define the implementation road map for achievement. Take an ownership in articulating, consolidating, classification and maintaining auditor’s requirement into the DA tracker. Define and build the execution plan to fulfill the requirements through applying data analytics framework. Involvement in multiple ongoing audits to ensure fulfillment and completions of auditor’s requirements. Actively participate in all audit commencement discussions; to identify the key focus areas and prepare audit analytics plan and work program Audit analytics – execution Ensuring required data availability & accessibility through the data lake or various source systems to evaluate audit test scenarios. Ensure that sufficient information is identified, analysed, evaluated and recorded to achieve the audit objectives as per engagement plan. Development of various audit(s) analytics test scenarios (transactions & controls) through complex SQL scripting (Database Technologies i.e. DB2, Oracle, Hive etc.), output data validation, highlighting data quality issues and ensuring accuracy in result accepted by auditors and business users. Need to connect, explore, collect, evaluate, analyze and data points from multiple source system. Able to perform cross functional data analysis. Maintain DA SQL script banks for further reuse purpose to internal audit team and various business stakeholders. Audit analytics – quarterly control monitoring Effectively perform executions of identified controls (SQL Scripts) at agreed frequency, output analysis, comparison with previous audit result and publishing artifacts post consultation with internal audit team. Effectively maintain the track of the SQL Scripts which are required for execution and prepare the result sheet as observations Participate into the discussion with business on observations Discuss on business queries and resolve it Audit analytics – through visualization Need a strong competency in design, develop and publish dashboards through visualization tools like – Congnos or Power BI or Tableau etc. Represent the analysis with visualization for effectively business consumption and adoption. Schedule the dashboard at defined frequency Audit analytics – through Automation Automation of SQL Scripts, UNIX scripts. Well understanding of Unix scripting for file handling Shell scripting for connecting with different servers for extracting required information for further analysis.
Must have - Core Competencies, Knowledge and Experience	Must have hands-on knowledge in Data Analytics area with the preferable Telecom functional understanding. He / She must have technical expertise in - Good understanding of Data warehouse, BI, Data Lake, ETL concepts, Big-data & hive Good hands on experience in Alteryx Workflow development. Development of complex SQL queries using various database technologies like DB2, Oracle, SQL server, Hive etc. (Refer Note 1) Automation using Unix shell scripting Dashboard design, development and publish using Cognos, Power BI, Tableau or any other visualization tools. Good understanding of data validation and testing the outputs Identifying and raising data quality issues. He / She must have soft skills in - Critical thinking ability Communication (written and verbal) and Interpersonal skills Achievement orientation Curiosity and zeal to learn new things Ability to deliver assigned activities timely Ability to analyze and interpret volumes of data
Good to have - Core Competencies, Knowledge and Experience	Good to have sound knowledge of cloud technologies like – AWS, Google, MS-Azure or hybrid could models. Bi-direction data movement between local and cloud environment with cloud space utilisation. Cloud base database & Dashboard reporting tools and technologies
Must have technical / professional qualifications	Technical full-time degree from reputed institute in - MCA / MCM / B. Tech / BE / M. Tech / MSC computer science & applications or equivalent degree. Professional courses from reputed institute in - Data science, Big data, AI & ML Data Analytics using Python
Years of Experience	Post qualification 5 to 10 years in Data Analytics. Telecom domain experience preferred.
