Job Purpose
|
- Manage DevOps platform and tools and Application deployment
- Manage periodic platform / tools upgrade
- Ensure 100% availability of CICD platform / tools
- Monitor the Backups and review backup policies periodically
- To govern Platform usage and deliveries and ensure adherence to the organization policies
- Liaison with teams to analyze new requirement
- Onboard New applications to the platform

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities
|
- Ensuring that CI/CD pipelines are robust, reliable, and scalable to support frequent and predictable releases.
- Evaluating, selecting, and integrating tools and technologies that support DevOps practices
- Fostering collaboration and communication between development, operations, and other cross-functional teams. Acting as a bridge between different teams to ensure alignment on goals, priorities, and processes.
- Leading and managing a team of DevOps engineers, architects, and specialists. Providing guidance, support, and mentorship to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and resources to succeed.
- Develop scripts to automate DevOps functions, source code checking with continuous integration, automated test tool configuration, application topology configuration, automated deployment and proactive environment monitoring & management
- Proven experience in Managing Hybrid CI-CD Platform
- Responsible for defining, tracking and status reporting of Ci CD KPIs
- Drive governance and adherence of Platform compliance and KPIs at the organisation level
- Strong experience in evaluating tools capabilities, implementing same across IT functions for business benefits and E2E tracking of delivery (Agile/waterfall projects)
- Liaison with Delivery teams, for defining New Application onboarding requirement
- Participate in establishing and reviewing of E2E Platform strategy as per organisational need
- Strong advocate of Standardization, quality, responsible to act a SME for application modernization/transformation programs
- Track and manage environments, ensure 100% availability of Environment for Projects teams
- Define centralized management process & Practices for all applications & Vendor teams
- Be part of a team of collaborators focusing on internal and external client satisfaction, efficiency and flawless execution
- Gather, challenge, clarify and document technical requirements coming from technology leadership
- Collaborating with security teams to integrate security practices into the DevOps pipeline
- Optimizing the performance and scalability of applications and infrastructure through capacity planning, performance tuning, and optimization techniques.
- Promoting a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the DevOps team.

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience
|
- Knowledge of platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Hands on experience in CI/CD (Git, Sonar, Docker, Maven, Kubernetes, Nexus, Jenkins, Ansible, terraform, Jmeter, cucumber, selenium, Appium etc)
- Experience in Java & Python and AI Ops tools,
- Working knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Certifications: Prince2 Practitioner & Foundation, Java, Python, DevOps
- Knowledge of acquisition system relevant to Telecom exposure
- Strong communications, interpersonal, negotiation skills. Highly competent in Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint/Visio/Word/good knowledge on Java & SQL
- Ability to drive operational excellence through standardization and innovation in processes/systems/tools.
