Job Purpose

 

This role to be defined as modernization and foot print reduction of IT Infrastructure landscape across. 

Improve new technology in operation which help in improve the operation efficiency, adoption of open source tool, drive the automation end to end in underlying infrastructure, identification of various use cases to implement AI/GenAI techniques which can help in reduction of Infra foot print as well in FTE.

 

 

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities

 

  • Should have hand-on experience implementing automations in various Infra technology like Unix, Storage, Windows platform.
  • Should have the hand on experience in developing scripting in python, PHP, Pearl etc
  • Should have the hands-on knowledge in event correlation, predictive analysis using AI to monitor various IT Infra landscape performance on real time basis.
  • Should have end to end knowledge in managing transition with experience in handling partner/vendor onboarding and monitor KPIs .
  • Should have the knowledge in implementing the processes for smooth handover from Transition cycle to Operation
  • Monitor performance and manage parameters in order to provide fast responses to application & end users
  • Good knowledge and hand on knowledge in configuring HA in various Infra technology
  • Strong knowledge on user access management
  • Should have the knowledge in onboarding/commissioning of Infra Technology on rack.

 

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience
  • 5-10 years of experience in developing AI scripting using python, PHP, Pearl etc
  • Should have the knowledge in implementing Open source tool and developing AI techniques to help in footprint reduction. 
  • Problem-solving and good analytical skills
  • Communication, teamwork and negotiation skills
  • Business awareness and understanding of business requirements of IT
  • Excellent interpersonal skills & ability to manage multiple stakeholders.

Must have technical / professional qualifications

 

  1. BE, MCA or Higher
  2. ITIL certified
