Job Purpose	This position will drive the centralization procurement of activities decided by the functional heads. This position will be important in the org set-up, as the person responsible will drive, tightly execute and control the centralization of capex and/or opex spend (procurement) of the cluster. The role is humungous, as the scale is massive with average cluster capex + opex of Rs. 2,000 Cr + annually. individually work and collaborate with cluster procurement SPOCs, local sourcing team and functional heads, work for centralization for the identified cluster procurement strategies based on market intelligence and benchmarks. Also Overall management of day-to-day buying for the centralized items effectively and efficiently within the cluster overall budgets. Management of multiple end-to-end sourcing projects in parallel..
Key Result Areas/Accountabilities	Drive centralization procurement strategy from Corporate by working closely & jointly with the user functional vertical heads (i.e., Technical, Marketing, Sales & Distribution, Customer Service, Retail, Finance etc.) to assess business needs and execute RFP processes by establishing clear timelines, expectations and deliveries. Team Management - Provide support to cluster procurement team member(s), conduct strategic supplier relationship management and risk analysis and provide timely inputs to initiate negotiation process. Identify opportunities to consolidate vendors/partners to drive supplier base. Applied Thinking - Set purchasing standards to improve negotiations for products and services by spend analysis. Monitoring and improving KPIs around procurement process implementation Driving procurement in adherence to supply chain policy - including savings definitions compliance and tracking saving in line with finance validation, procurement scorecard reporting, DoA, etc. Strategic Partnership - Develops strong partnerships with current and potential suppliers. Ensures the completion of team deliverables in term of procurement and audit governance. Co-ordinate with the corporate category teams and drive synergy wherever possible. Drive HSW for high risk supplier and ensure governance in place.
Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience	Integrity, ethical and other value systems. Strong knowledge of Sourcing & Supply Chain management. Strong knowledge of products requirement in the telecom equipment, services and other domains related to Marketing, Events etc. Ability to manage multiple stake holders/Vertical Heads in the organisation. Good communication, MIS, presentation, excel skills and hands on SAP.
Must have technical / professional qualifications	BE/MBA Strong background in Sourcing and Supply Chain
