Manager, Content Writer and Multimedia QC

Job Purpose

Create and maintain product, process and system related training modules. Create SCORM compliant packages of training module via Captivate and Articulate tool to host on Learning Management Platform.

 

Conduct technical testing of SCORM compliant learning objects to deliver consistent and high-quality functional content to users. Learning objects to include training materials and elearning like videos, games, presentations, simulations, interactive exercises.

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities

 

  • Content Creation & Maintenance

- Build and implement customised and personalised learning solutions for induction & continuous education in line with the learning approach, processes and set business guidelines

- Drive Quality in all programs to ensure it is in line to branding,process & LMS SOP

- Adhere to brand guidelines, module writing guidelines, SCORM testing, LMS Testing

 

  • Quality Assurance & Testing

- Perform quality assurance checks by testing the learning objects from technical perspective, based on project scope

- Collaborate with the content design team to identify project requirement, define the technical quality parameters, define testing processes, prepare checklists and ensure tests adhere to established standards

- Identify and analyse any bugs or errors, track root causes, provide alternate solutions and recommend appropriate actions to ensure that the modules or files are error-free

- Review modules or files at each testing stage and maintain standard feedback bug reports

- Identify and implement automated systems and tools for testing and incorporate them in the QA processes

 

  • Technology Requirement
  • Adept with the latest trends, technologies, best practices, testing platforms and implement improvements, as appropriate

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience

 

  • At least 4-5 years’ work experience, with minimum 2 years of work experience in training

- Achieve on time delivery for assigned projects/individual files

- Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills

- Ability to communicate effectively

- Good analytical and presentation skills

- Excellent time management skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and highly dynamic environment

Must have technical / professional qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant qualification
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
  • Experience working with a Learning Management System (LMS) is a plus
  • Knowledge of elearning development and formats is a plus
  • Knowledge of Instructional Design is a plus
