Role	GIS & Automation Lead

Function / Department	Cluster –Technology (Fiber Management)

Job Purpose	Responsible for circle GIS based route planning to optimize cost of delivery for mobility & enterprise. Develop digitization and automation plan and ensure implementation across the geography so that fiber asset is visible at various GIS platform. Also fiber operation is completely automated to provide transparency to all involved
Key Result Areas/Accountabilities	Digitize fiber assets by onboarding GIS tool and route mapping. Define blue print for fiber digitization – automation of patrolling, splicing, visibility of all maintenance staff in Apps etc. Digitization of ROW/Permissions/HOTO etc. Support the circle planner for new rollout for POP & fiber/MW/Optics/IP team Manage SI & Google Earth as per requirement of digitalization of GIS data
Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience	Telecom experience and Proficiency in understanding overall transport NW architecture and key cost drivers. Understanding of IP/MPLS & Optics NW architecture to build scalable fiber NW Transformation & Digitization with expertise in GIS. Program & vendor management skills. Ability to work in dynamic & matrix organization. Strong Stakeholder management, Negotiation skills and Strategic mind set to make win-win alliance with TSP partners and IRU partners Should have strong knowledge in database management & automation projects.
Must have technical / professional qualifications	Should have B.tech/B.E 6-8 years of Telecom experience
