Job Purpose |
Responsible and single point of contact for mobility service performance on transport network across circle and NLD network which has various technologies like IP/MPLS , SDH , OTN , DWDM, PTN etc. Define and benchmark transport performance KPI along with mobility service KPI to ensure best voice and data experience in VIL network Develop end to end process for transport management involving NOC , circle and central team |
Key Result Areas/Accountabilities |
· Accountable for Transport Performance of PAN India IP/MPLS and Transmission network and ensures the targeted KPIs & SLAs for mobility & enterprises are met by proactively working on performance management KPI, problem management, process standardization, process automation etc. · Quality Management & Optimization - KPIs, Benchmarking and Optimization of Transport Networks , Service Level SLA , analysis, recommendation and implementation. · Strong Governance mechanism with cross functional team; OEM (Cisco, Juniper, Nokia, Ericsson); MS partners (Nokia, Ericsson, Huawei, Wipro) and Leadership team. · Drive network quality and network optimization programs across geographies to improve customer experience and make the network a point of differentiation in the market place in terms of quality. Influence product improvement, Network Architecture selection/modification along with Planning and strategy teams.. o Transport performance management and benchmarking of KPI’s. o Acadian Analysis & action plan with the benchmark. o OOKLA Leadership in the circle o TNL Failures o Optical & Microwave Flaps, Degradation with improvement plan · Drive digitization for entire Transport Network Performance based on the customer experience |
Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience |
· In-depth knowledge and experience in large scale and complex backhaul network to carry mobility and fixed line services Familiarity and experience in the areas of orchestration, management and virtualization (SDN-NFV). Understanding of Operators Telco, Core and IP networks and networks functions · Ability to drive operational excellence through standardization and innovation in processes/systems/tools · Experience in managing multi service & multivendor network. (Cisco, Juniper, Nokia, Huawei, ZTE, Etc) · Excellent team building capabilities and communication skills · Industry interaction and participation in forums to develop best practices across operators |
Must have technical / professional qualifications |
Industry Certification – ITIL/CCNA/CCNP/CCIE/JNCIA/JNCIP · Strong focus on delivery and attention to detail · Strong knowledge on 2G/3G/4G/5G technologies and its working · Ability to manage dynamic, high- growth, high- uncertainty environments Educational Qualifications · B.
