1) Job Purpose
Role purpose: This position has the overall responsibility for creating, building and managing the
Enterprise Cyber Security Line of business as a P&L centre. This position will work closely with
Technology teams and External partners (Security solution vendors across E2E portfolio, SIs, ) for
developing the entire portfolio and will also work closely with market segments to appropriately
deploy the necessary resources required to launch, drive and gain market share for the business.
The role envisages significant capability building activity around Systems, LifeCycle Management
Processes (Create, Sell, Build & Run) and People Capabilities, as well as an ability to convert GTM
strategies into operations for Cyber security services portfolio.
2) Key Accountabilities / Key Result Areas (Max 5)
1. Build detailed business plans & capabilities with overall P&L responsibility for LoB aligned to the
objectives and LRP for the business. This includes revenues & contribution margins over the
planning horizon.
2. To build & deliver strategic products, solutions & revenue roadmap for the LoB vertical with the
objective of creating a robust line of business
a. Network Security
b. End-point Security
c. Security Audits, VAPT Solutions, SIEM & SOAR solution
d. SOC Ops
e. Systems – MCMP, Billing, Ops, Order Management, Sales CRM
3. Ownership of Customer, Product & Services lifecycle management
a. OSS/BSS
b. Integrations with OEMs across breadth of portfolio offerings
c. Billing models and process
d. Delivery architecture and process
e. Development of IT systems for delivery, billing, payment, collection
f. Product definitions in the systems
g. Insights from Market Practices – Pricing/Billing, Contractual terms, SLAs, Governance
etc.
4. Build a strong partner ecosystem of Security OEMs, Service providers, Applications
developers, SIs etc.
5. To design, along with the market segments, GTM strategies and sales plans aimed to deliver
targeted product sales. Create & jointly implement demand programs for Vi Secure services
along with Marketing & Segments
6. Evolve the organization structure and buy-build the capabilities required to drive business
outcomes.
3) Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience, Technical / Professional Qualifications
(Max 5)
1. Business expertise and experience of Enterprise Cyber Security business – Cloud security,
Cyber Security, Infrastructure Security, Consulting, Design, Architecture, Implementation and
Troubleshooting solutions
2. Sales, Products, Solutions, Delivery, Operations (Create, Sell, Build & Run) – Includes
Developing customized Information Security solutions, and managing enterprise IT and cyber
security solutions, SOC projects and teams via people, process and technology aspects of
Security Operating Model
3. Domain expertise for at least 2 key industry verticals – BFSI, IT/ITeS, Manufacturing, Retail..
4. Skills on building a new business (LoB) grounds-up
5. Competitive insights & appropriate position and capability development for LoB–
6. Commercial acumen & knowledge of Regulatory & Compliance requirements along with
ISO27000 , TL9000, ITIL, ETOM process frameworks
Technical / professional qualifications:
MBA, Engineer (preferred) with at least 12 years of experience out of which ~5 years in
Security business with OEMs, Security Services SI &/Or Consulting Practices
