Job Purpose

To lead content creation using new-age formats and platforms for Vi – with core responsibility of driving a shift away from traditional media – delivering higher brand consideration amongst the youth cohort.

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities

Content Creation for Communication and Engagement has gone through a seismic change in recent years, especially when seen with the lens of the Youth Cohort. Youth doesn’t watch LTV, not even CTV, Facebook is their parents’ platform, even Instagram is used for DMs and not for consuming content. In such a scenario it is imperative for Vi to communicate where Youth are present and in a manner that appeals to them, so as to build brand loyalty. These new-age platforms emerge and disappear fast and it is important for a brand to ride their rising and ebbing tides.

 

This role will:

 

  • Build and Execute the Innovative Content creation agenda for Brand Vi to make it the most popular telecom brand amongst youth
  • Build up the buzz and positive sentiments for the brand by creating topical content within the brand framework, while working closely with new-age partners
  • Work closely with Vi’s Campaign Leads and media team on all brand campaigns through appropriate content creation.

 

  • Drive Youth content partners to deliver campaigns as per the agreed calendar and brand guidelines.
  • Work with the in-house social media command centre, the MILL – to extract relevant insights to build buzz, engagement and business.
  • Work with cross- functional teams at corporate and circle levels .
  • Collaborate with industry partners – Facebook, Google, Twitter etc to explore new opportunities and deliver efficient social media campaigns and industry-first experiences to the consumers

 

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience

 

  • cutting-edge understanding of new-age content consumed by youth
  • Creativity to build the youth centric communication planned
  • Agile learner and keen observer of societal trends for youth
  • Leading edge language skills to create content in brand tonality
  • Ability to grasp brand guidelines and brand ethos

 

Experience of 8-10 years in total of which 3-4 in a similar role.

Excellent Creative abilities

Extreme high level of English language proficiency

 

Must have technical / professional qualifications

 

MBA from Tier 1 A and 1 B colleges
