Job Purpose

The objective of this role is to

  • Drive Forecast and Planning for Subscriber, Usage and Revenue at National level. Partnering with the business teams to deliver robust revenue plans/forecasts for the year as well as for the long range plan supported with subscriber and usage KPI's forecast
  • Governance of pricing as well as evaluation and post launch review of business cases including new products, change in tariff, segmented offers, roaming and strategic initiatives/partnerships
  • Industry benchmarking which includes publishing Revenue and Customer market share, business and financial benchmarking with key competitors to management basis quarterly results, P&L/Balance Sheet benchmarking for VIL with key competitors and provide insights into EBITDA performance
  • Development of reporting and analytical framework which includes integration and rollout of critical business reports, conceptualise and develop new reports/dash boards to provide critical insights into business performance, periodic analytics to provide deeper understanding of trends/behaviour up to individual customer level
  • Investor support which includes providing key business KPI’s trend for quarterly results and earning call/Management discussions. Also support with key information required for external discussions.
  • This role involves high degree of interaction & coordination across all functions at Corporate with various functions


This position plays an important role in providing insights to Management and support the decision making process

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities

  • Business Partnering with Marketing and other functions to correctly forecast revenue and develop models for Long range plans, support new plans/initiatives rollout
  • Drive the forecasting/budget cycles (including LRP, DB & re-forecasts) for Revenue & Subscriber KPI’s
  • Drive automation to deliver, generate new reports relevant to current business dynamics
  • Provide industry benchmarking on Customer, Revenue and Financial performance
  • Lead the team to deliver meaningful insights and continuously search for new ways to improve the efficiency, accuracy & integrity of reporting procedures
  • Drive the development & implementation of new planning tools & processes
