1. Job Purpose

Business management and creation of Security service portfolio, holistically, for maximum value creation for customers and business across their lifecycles.  The role is vital to create and implement a strategic roadmap for security portfolio by launching comprehensive suite of managed Cyber Security services for enterprise customers. The role also includes managing and growing existing security products to create a string revenue line for the organisation. 

2. Key Accountabilities / Key Result Areas (Max 5)

• Build vision, strategy, and roadmap for security product(s) with an end goal of creating a scalable and sustainable business line and meeting VILs strategic objectives
• Product lifecycle management with a key accountability to grow revenue and market share for the portfolio.
• Market mapping of current and future product capabilities, sizing of business opportunities and creation of product strategic based on market needs and customer insights.
• Evangelize the Product portfolio both inside and outside the company
• Actively participate in key strategic deals as a subject matter expert by providing solutions and commercial support.
• Manage the Product development process across organizations by ensuring clear direction is communicated to engineering and operations teams when defining and prioritizing features, enhancements, platform improvements, and customer requests.

3. Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience, Technical / Professional Qualifications (Max 5)

• Min 8+ years of experience. SME in Security in product management & development function. Deep understanding of security technologies - Cyber-Security solutions.
  • Managed Security Services, Log Management, Vulnerability Research, SIEM Tools.
  • Security compliance standards (i. e. HIPPA, PCI, SOX, GLBA).
  • Firewall, IDS/IPS, email, Web Content Filtering, DDoS, threat mitigation systems
• Strong experience in enterprise managed security services product lifecycle management.
• End-to-end proposition development experience including developing product concepts, business cases, delivering products through NPD cycles and as building robust Go-to-market plans.

Technical / professional qualifications:

• Engineering Graduate / MBA  or equivalent
• Product Management certifications- Pragmatic Marketing/Blackblot/Equivalent

4. Key Performance Indicators (Max 5)

• Revenue and P&L accountability for security portfolio
• Creation of Security portfolio complementing connectivity portfolio. Long Term roadmap and vision to increase market share for the respective product lines.

Product Capability enhancements and new product launches complementing existing products. Annual and LRP planning – market and customer insight, business objectives, depth of analysis, extent of detailing and timelines
