Job Purpose |
The Corporate function is responsible for framing, updating, and testing SSC controls that address risks of material misstatement at an account level.
The role holder is responsible for strengthening and continuously evolving an effective ERM framework across VI, with the objective of achieving sustainable growth.
The role is also responsible for maintaining and updating the DOA (Delegation of Authority) document. The scope of DOA relates to financial delegation. Compliance to DOA is monitored by the Corporate Assurance function, and the resulting monitoring results are reviewed by appropriate governance teams/committees.

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities |
ICFR
1. Conduct walkthroughs with SSC Process Owners to identify risks, finalize control designs, and document outcomes.
2. Update risks and related controls to reflect process changes or system migrations.
3. Draft the Risk Control Matrix (RCM) for process controls basis identified risk/new process
4. Collaborate with Statutory Auditors at the start of the year to review control descriptions, risks, frequencies, and classifications, and update the RCM based on agreed changes.
5. Plan Control Self-Assessments (CSA) of ICFR controls for SSC locations at the beginning of each month.
6. Monitor and govern the monthly execution of CSA activities for SSC Ahmedabad.
7. Perform quality reviews of CSA submissions to ensure completeness and accuracy.
8. Plan and execute testing of Design Effectiveness, Operating Effectiveness, and Roll-Forward assessments.
9. Carry out detailed testing of design and operating effectiveness, and document results in standardized worksheets.
10. Conduct discussions with stakeholders to clarify issues, resolve observations, and close open points identified during design/operating effectiveness testing.
11. Coordinate with Statutory Auditors for control testing requirements, including providing evidence, responding to queries, and addressing remediation plans.
12. Train process operators on ICFR control self-assessment procedures.
13. Manage and update Change Requests / New Control Requests in SAP GRC, ensuring timely system updates.
14. Report periodically on the status of Management and Statutory Audit testing to senior management.
15. Review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all processes, suggesting and updating changes where required.
ERM
1. Preparation of the consolidated Risk Register and analysing the risk register
2. Develop and maintain the Enterprise Risk Register, ensuring timely updates on emerging risks and mitigation plans
3. Monitor the reported risk and mitigation plans on a periodic basis.
4. Preparation of Risk Committee presentation for Senior management, Risk Committee and Board.
