Context for the new role

As digital journeys become increasingly app-led and AI-enabled, Identity, Trust, Fraud protection and seamless customer experiences are becoming critical requirements for consumers and digital businesses.

Telcos possess unique network capabilities, identity signals and customer insights that can be transformed into differentiated solutions for consumers, app developers, fintechs, digital platforms, cyber-safety ecosystem.

Vi is building an Identity, Trust & Intelligence portfolio spanning network APIs, developer platforms, fraud and cyber-safety solutions, browsing protection and emerging AI-led services. The opportunity is to translate core telecom capabilities into simple, scalable and developer-friendly products that improve digital experiences while creating new monetisation opportunities for Vi.

Job purpose

Conceptualize, develop and manage Vi’s portfolio of Identity, Trust & Intelligent solutions by transforming telecom network capabilities, data signals and customer insights into relevant products for developers, enterprises and consumers.

The role will work closely with network technology, data intelligence and digital product ecosystems to deliver differentiated solutions that are easy to consume, scalable and commercially relevant.

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities

Product Development & Evolution

  • Define the roadmap for Identity, Trust and Intelligence APIs.
  • Identify new use cases across fintech, digital platforms, cyber safety, and AI.
  • Package telecom capabilities into commercially relevant API products.
  • Develop consumer-facing cyber safety, fraud protection, browsing protection, digital trust and AI led solutions.

Developer & End user Experience

  • Define API specifications, documentation and developer journeys.
  • Drive platform readiness including API gateway, sandbox and developer portal.
  • Improve developer experience across Android, iOS and web ecosystems.

Ensuring Product availability, leveraging:

  • Silent Mobile Verification, SIM Swap & Number Verification signals
  • Network & Device Intelligence
  • Risk, Fraud and AI-based Trust Signals
  • Privacy-safe consumer insights

Cross-functional Delivery

  • Work with Network, IT, Digital and compliance teams to prioritize development.
  • Support GTM teams with product positioning and solution design.
  • Continuously engage with developers and ecosystem partners to understand requirements, validate product-market fit and evolve the roadmap.
