Job Purpose

Responsible for IP billing, Opex, IP Governance, Inventory, MW and RAN KPI.

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities

 

Opex:

a)  To manage & maintain circle technology Opex and ensure to meet targets assign by the corporate.

b) Identification of cost saving initiatives and rolled out project to optimise technology opex cost

 

Energy:

a) Cell sites energy cost validation and optimization with the Infra providers to ensure actual expenses pass through.

b) Cell site energy cost optimization to be focused and ensure proper database of each site will be available with all the parameters required in energy cost analysis

c) Quarterly reconciliation and closer with the Infra providers on the energy validations.

 

IP Governance:

a) Infra uptime to be targeted for 99.90 across the sites of the circle.

b) Initiating projects to drive infra providers uptime improvement plan for the outliers sites

c) Ensure to maintain health & hygiene of the cell sites to sustain in summer & monsoon  

 

Inventory :

·       Responsible for Managing Inventory for Operations for RAN and MW

·       Responsible for SFN, NSS, CAM, OCI, RMA, MRN, ATN , SRN,NFF,SLA

·       Responsible to check filled SFN and validation with alarms require basic understanding of RAN( Ericsson BSC 212 33c, 212 55/60 and EVO 8230) Ericsson 4G BTS.. & MW various faults, fault Codes and remedies. 

RAN and MW KPI:

 

·       Responsible for Managing MW Operational KPIs (RNA, Alarms, Error, fluctuation, license, WFM, HW & SW compatibility etc.)

·       Responsible for Managing MW Radio link KPIs (RSL,Frequency,Modulation,XPI,Hi-Lo,ATPC,ACM,BER,Interference,alarms)

·       Responsible for MW Quality KPIs (Utilization, Migrations, QoS, Protocols, Ethernet parameters, synch thru TDM and Packet, NTP etc.)

·       Responsible for RAN KPIs Hardware Fault Rate, RFO dashboards, prefixing validation.

·       Good hands on Knowledge on EVO BSC/RNC/ CP fault rectification

·       Co ordination with SNOC and Field Team for RAN Faults/NSS/CXX updation, rectification.

·       Analysis of RNA Analysis and action on defaulting sites/cells.

 

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience

 

·       Good hands on experience in Ericsson MW MLTN and ML66xx series, Huawei MW, NEC Passolink+, Fibcom, BG, E1to LAN converters and UBR.

·       Good hands on experience on Linux and MW Excel and power point.

·       Good Knowledge of Equipment pertaining to BSC, RNC, all Radio technologies 2G,3G,4G,MIMO,small cells ,transport equipment XDM, NPT, DWDM, Egg routers, Infra asset and functionality like BB, LA, Earthing, Voltage.

·       Good Command on communication, presentation skills , Analytical skills, audits and result oriented approaches like leadership skills, influencing skills and motivational skills

·       Have good Hands on Experience on IP billing, IP Governance , Opex Drive .

·        

Must have technical / professional qualifications

•     Essential : Graduation – BE (Electronics and communication) or equivalent

 

•     Work experience: 8 - 10 years especially in Ericsson and Huawei MW.

Exp on IP billing, Opex, IP governence.
