Job Purpose

Job Context: The job revolves around the basic need of a business unit to put its business objectives to action. The BI resource is responsible for seamless co-ordination between various functions to ensure that objectives are consistently met. The BI resource is also responsible for maintaining a consistent vigil on the pressing business issues/concerns of a business unit so that they can be effectively monitored and controlled. Major Challenges: 1. To convince different stakeholders in a decision of the larger business objective behind the decision. 2. Reporting directly to the head of the business unit, the BI resource also needs to be extremely comfortable with data interpretation & market intelligence with a simple but insightful manner of presenting observations. 3. To involve in multiple projects/initiatives that are multi-functional in nature.

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities

  • Monitor and analyze the KPIs and provide strategic insights : To update the Marketing Head of the changing business trends by business performance reporting by preparation and circulate relevant reports like Customer Market Share, Revenue Market Share & per site traffic report as per the schedule given. 2. To monitor and analyze the KPIs and provide insights to the Marketing head and other CMT members and to provide critical recommendations leading to implementation by year end.
  • Decision Support in Strategy Formulation : To provide required support and play active role in strategy formulation across functions in Implementation of business decision, and in the budgeting exercise. 2. To provide regular and effective suggestions for reducing LUT% across Marketing
