Job Purpose

  1. Responsible for overall warehouse and logistics management of Network and Opex Operations in the circle
  2. Ensure the policies, processes and best practices around the warehousing and logistics operations are complied
  3. Ensuring the inventory and logistics tools are updated on real time basis and necessary reporting is done on time.
  4. Ensuring inventory management standards are fixed including forecasting as per consumption patterns/movements, monitored, maintained and reported on time
  5. Create visibility of inventory levels to help drive deployment, utilization & replenishment of inventory
  6. Monitoring and review of warehousing and logistics agency performance through warehousing KPIs & drive improvement with regular visits.
  7. Review nonmoving inventory & drive inter & intra circle in close movements in coordination with circle user teams & corporate teams
  8. Regular interaction with Circle network & S&M stakeholders for any issues related to vertical

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities

  1. Driving error free warehousing and logistics operations for NWS and Opex functions along with the  partners assigned
  2. Tracking of inventory & forecasting on critical inventory availability to avoid stock out situations
  3. Responsible for Implementing & monitoring the transport model (iTCMS) in circle
  4. Driving Warehousing and logistics related KPIs and perform to compete in the system
  5. Work closely with circle user teams on deployment plan of inventory & maintaining sufficient stocks
  6. Timely updation of systems, tracking of inventory & forecasting of inventory availability to avoid stock out situation
  7. Monitoring and measuring the performance of the agencies involved in operations and their management
  8. Inventory should be focused to keep minimum inventory levels.
  9. Site Return material Inventory communication to all stakeholders and scrap inventory to be disposed off timely to free Warehouse space.
  10. Physical Vs system monthly stock audit and daily cycle count.
  11. Ensure all valid statutory documents are available in all the warehouses.
  12. Health, Safety and Wellbeing policies to be complied 100%.

 

 

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience

 

  1. Material Management & Warehousing Operations
  2. Logistics Management
  3. Warehousing norms & Material handling processes and hands on experience in SAP/Oracle/Zoho
  4. Experience of 5-7 years in the concerned field
  5. Knowledge of Telecom Network Equipment (preferably)

 

Must have technical / professional qualifications

 

MBA with Operations and

Engineering under grad
