Job Purpose

To drive end-to-end technical training operations — from need analysis to delivery and reporting — ensuring the workforce is upskilled effectively, training data is accurately tracked through the LMS, and stakeholders (SMEs, vendors, business teams) are coordinated seamlessly to meet organizational capability goals.

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities

•            Conduct Training Need Analysis (TNA) across teams/bands and translate findings into actionable training plans

•            Understand business requirements and coordinate with stakeholders for timely execution

•            Own end-to-end LMS operations: scheduling, assessments, attendance, and dashboard reporting

•            Publish regular learning metrics and MIS reports to leadership

•            Drive high participation rates for evening/off-hour training sessions

•            Coordinate with SMEs for content delivery and manage training calendars/scheduling

•            Maintain and update competency/skill matrices in line with role requirements

•            Track and update all training requirements across teams in a central repository

•            Liaise with external vendors for training planning, contracting, and delivery

•            Ensure audit-readiness of all training records and compliance documentation

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience

•            Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills

              •            Working knowledge of Training Need Analysis methodologies

              •            Proficiency in LMS administration (course creation, scheduling, reporting, dashboards)

              •            Experience building/updating skill and competency matrices

              •            Vendor management and negotiation skills

              •            Data-driven mindset — comfortable with metrics, dashboards, and MIS reporting

              •            Ability to drive engagement/participation in voluntary or evening sessions

              •            Strong planning and multitasking ability to manage parallel training tracks

              •            Good communication skills (written and verbal) for SME and leadership interactions

Must have technical / professional qualifications

•            Master’s degree, MBA/PG in HR or L&D is a plus

              •            10-15 years of experience in Technical Training / L&D, preferably in a technical operations or telecom/IT environment

              •            Hands-on experience with at least one LMS platform (e.g., Moodle, Cornerstone, SAP Success Factors)

              •            Proficiency in MS Excel/Power BI for metrics and dashboard reporting

              •            Prior experience managing competency/skill matrices

              •            Experience coordinating with SMEs and external training vendors
