Job Purpose |
To design, develop, and evaluate high-quality, learner-centric e-learning courses — including simulation-based and gamified modules — that build workforce capability, drive self-directed learning, and deliver measurable business impact, using sound adult learning principles and industry-standard authoring tools. |

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities |
• Design and develop e-learning courses grounded in adult learning principles (andragogy, Bloom’s Taxonomy, ADDIE/SAM) • Build simulation-based e-learning modules replicating real-world scenarios and decision-making • Create gamified, self-paced learning modules that improve engagement and accelerate the learning curve • Develop storyboards, scripts, and voiceover content, and produce finished courses in Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, and related tools • Design and implement learning evaluation frameworks (Kirkpatrick Levels 1–4) to assess effectiveness and impact • Partner with SMEs and stakeholders to convert performance gaps into structured learning interventions • Ensure timely, quality delivery across multiple concurrent projects • Maintain SCORM/xAPI-compliant, LMS-ready course outputs |

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience |
• 10–15 years of experience as an Instructional Designer • Strong working knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM, Merrill’s First Principles, Gagné’s Nine Events) • Proven experience building simulation-based and scenario/branching e-learning • Experience designing gamified and self-learning modules • Strong scriptwriting, storyboarding, and visual design sense • Analytical mindset for learning evaluation and ROI measurement • Strong stakeholder management, collaboration, and consulting skills • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously |

Must have technical / professional qualifications |
• Post-graduate degree (M.Ed., MA in Learning/Instructional Design, MBA, or related field) • Proficiency in Articulate Storyline 360 (mandatory) • Working knowledge of Camtasia and other authoring/video tools • Familiarity with LMS platforms and SCORM/xAPI publishing standards (Preference Moodle) |
