Key Result Areas/Accountabilities	1. Technical Strategy & Design Backhaul Architecture: Lead the design and planning of microwave backhaul networks to support high-speed data (4G/5G).Link Budgeting: Conduct advanced link budget analysis, frequency planning, and interference analysis (e.g., using Pathloss 5 or Mentum Ellipse). Standards Compliance: Ensure all designs meet regulatory (FCC/ITU) and internal quality standards. 2. Network Optimization & Performance KPI Management: Accountable for network KPIs such as RSL (Received Signal Level), MSE (Mean Squared Error), and link availability. Capacity Planning: Forecast growth and implement upgrades (e.g., migrating from 1+0 to 2+0 or XPIC configurations). QoS/Traffic Engineering: Define Quality of Service (QoS) parameters and VLAN tagging strategies for microwave-over-IP. 3. Advanced Troubleshooting (L3 Support) Root Cause Analysis: Lead investigations into chronic outages, fading issues, or hardware failures that field teams cannot resolve. Vendor Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for OEMs (e.g., Ericsson, Nokia, Huawei, Ceragon) to resolve software bugs or hardware defects. 4. Leadership & Mentorship Technical Governance: Create and maintain Method of Procedure (MOP) and Acceptance Test Procedure (ATP) documents. Training: Mentor junior engineers and field technicians on microwave theory and alignment techniques.
Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience	Technical Expertise Hardware: Deep knowledge of Split-Mount, All-Outdoor, and Indoor units; experience with high-frequency bands (E-band/70-80GHz, V-band, and traditional 6-38GHz). Software: Proficiency in Pathloss 5, Google Earth Pro, and NMS (Network Management Systems) like U2000 or NetViewer. Networking: Strong understanding of IP/MPLS, Ethernet switching, Synchronization (SyncE, PTP/1588v2), and Microwave-to-Fiber integration
Must have technical / professional qualifications	Experience: 7-10 Years. Qualification: B. Tech - ECE/EEE/CSE
