Job Purpose

The HR Business Partner partners with assigned business and functional leaders to drive the people agenda for their respective business units. The role translates HR strategy into business-focused people interventions that enhance talent quality, employee experience, workforce effectiveness, and business performance while ensuring achievement of key workforce and organisational metrics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive talent management initiatives to enhance talent quality, bench strength, internal mobility, and career progression within assigned business units.
  • Manage employee retention through proactive identification of attrition risks and implementation of targeted engagement and retention interventions for critical talent segments.
  • Drive diversity, equity & inclusion initiatives, including gender balance actions, to improve workforce representation, inclusivity, and employee engagement.
  • Govern the performance management process, including performance reviews, development planning, and performance improvement interventions, ensuring effective and compliant execution.
  • Support workforce planning, organisation effectiveness, manpower management, onboarding, employee transitions, and exit management activities to enhance workforce stability and employee experience.
  • Execute HR programmes and business-specific people initiatives, ensuring delivery against defined objectives, timelines, and success measures.
  • Collaborate with HR Centres of Excellence to deploy talent, learning, diversity, engagement, recognition, and capability-building initiatives within assigned business units.
  • Leverage people analytics and workforce insights to identify trends, recommend interventions, and support business decisions while ensuring compliance with HR policies, governance standards, employee wellbeing initiatives, and organisational requirements.

 

Managerial

  • Lead, coach, and develop the M2 HRBP team member through effective goal setting, mentoring, and capability building.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Education Qualification

MBA / PGDM — Human Resources from a tier 1/2 institution. Graduation in any discipline.

 

Years of working experience

Minimum 10 years total with at least 5 years in HR Business Partnering roles at circle or regional level.
