Job Purpose

Manage delivery of business requirements on Prepaid Lifecycle applications (like eTOPUP/ORS/VMS) for Projects & Demands.

As a SME of prepaid products, Collaborate with business users to understand business requirements for impact assessment and convert them into functional requirement as well as Solution design & Implementation of demand/CR delivery to the production.

Managing day-to-day small/large projects activities in area of prepaid customer life cycle management.

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities

Managing eTOPUP & Prepaid lifecycle application Demand & Project delivery

  • E2E demand execution by coordinating requirements closure, plan solution and delivery alignment, schedule activities for go-live plan; contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments.
  • Contribute to prioritisation of Demands in consultation with user function and deliveries, strict governance around scope and deliverables by detailed requirement gathering and elicitation, and closely monitor scope creep by tracking FRS changes post sign off.
  • Ensure closure of all BAU demands assigned within agreed TAT and quality parameters
  • Ensure demands are delivered on time & first time right as per business requirements agreed & signed off.
  • Ensure SIT & UAT alignment & closures for demands & new products feasibility
  • Track demand deliveries, realization and Go-live across all circles with Business teams.
  • Recommends system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom development and other alternatives.
  • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
  • Ensure alignment with release & operations team for deployment & handover

 

For SME Role 

  • Responsible for assisting solution team (as found necessary) on effort estimation & impact assessment.
  • Participate in impact assessment sessions with architecture team, Operations team & Infrastructure teams (wherever found necessary) & provide relevant inputs required from SME perspective.

 

Operational support & L3 Management

  • Review with L3 team along with operation team for issues reported and for pending fixes.
  • Reviews with all the respective teams for the health check status of system.
  • Periodic discussion on S1 and S2 raised to find RCA and action points to be taken to avoid the severities
  • Provides support on operational issues
  • Identify process improvement points which reduce product to market time
  • Support to implementation of new feature across applications.
  • Support surround network devices/IT applications related issues for resolution.
  • Verifies application results by conducting audits of business requirement implemented.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

For Stakeholder Management

  • Stakeholder management (Various Business Functions, Internal IT Portfolios and Multiple Vendor Team), ensure that all testing cycles are closed and signoffs received as per defined acceptance standards and share required artefacts to release team alignment prior deployment of code into production.
  • Own to resolve the dependencies & risks (if identified) in discussion with various partner & business teams.

 

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience

  • Overall 8 - 10 years of experience in IT telecom, project management skills to handle transition & integration projects. Knowledge of incorporating various SDLC methodologies like Agile (Scrum Master), Waterfall.
  • Sound knowledge in various Effort estimation techniques – Function point analysis, Story points, etc.
  • Understanding of Prepaid Customer life cycle & telecom processes for BSS stack solution design & delivery
  • Understanding of IN provisioning, API interfaces, Channel Partner & Wallet  Management
  • Experience in project management using agile methodologies, estimation.
  • Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal & presentation skills with an ability to execute team
  • Knowledge and experience in infrastructure implementation projects

Must have technical / professional qualifications

  • UG: B.Tech/B.E in IT/Computer Science
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and effective Project Management skill (certifications such as PMP, Agile, preferred)
  • Experience in programming/coding preferably in Java, Oracle sql, SOAP, Tomcat, REST, WAS, Shell scripting and Unix/Linux environment.
