Direct and Indirect Tax Compliances

Responsible to comply all Direct and Indirect Tax notices received at VIL and support to Corporate Tax. Ensure compliance with GST provisions with regard to all transactions routed through circle tax team. Timely and accurate filing of all applicable GST tax returns for MNG circle and availment of all general and specific exemptions.

Reporting the requisite tax data to corporate and SSC team in the form of IDT and DT compliances. Co-ordination with Auditor & Completion of Audit programs, Preparation of internal tax MIS. Tracking of case status and movement and update Litigation Matter.

To file relevant replies and appeals to Show cause notices, demand orders and ensure compliance with relevant provisions of the act while doing so. Ensure follow up for refunds wherein a favorable order is received.

Submissions and collaboration and co-ordination with government authorities.

Tracking and creating data (Soft and Hard) for ready reference to all new cases or addition to old cases upon movement.

Relevant support regarding GST exposure and certifications to trade partners. Conducting calls with zones for Trade Partners support on Tax compliances

Statutory Compliance, Payment and Audit -  Ensure timely booking & payment of statutory dues to Government Authorities, State & Local Bodies, Closure of all Audit related areas with no audit Queries ,Ensuring all justification given to auditors in time and also duly audited, Monthly Sox compliance.

Monthly closing - Review monthly provision files of Network cost, Bad Debts etc., Correct accounting with proper back for provisions and justification for Variance ,Estimates etc., , Supervision of vendor creation & updation in / DOA changes as per requirement.
