Job Purpose

Identifying the business problems proactively and channelizing the business requirements to IT

Ensuring any new enhancements/changes required within BI ecosystem due to changes in business dynamics Or network upgrade

Approving and prioritizing the business requests for delivery

Driving overall BI adoption by conducting training across functions and knowledge transfer sessions

Performing the UAT for Data Lake Objects for Transformation Project

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities

1. Business requirement gathering-

• Initiating and approaching business stakeholders for new requirements
• Conduct discussions with business stakeholders through VC/Audio bridge/face to face meetings etc.
• Connect with business to Identify the requirements based on

change in Network elements or IT applications /Business dynamics /Change in Regulatory guidelines

2. Feasibility Check-

• Perform feasibility analysis through internal discussion
• Analyze and validate the requirement at system as well as business level by refining the business requirement

3. Interaction with IT stakeholders-

• Conduct and lead the discussion with IT stakeholders including for giving detailed understanding of the finalized business requirement
• Clarify the queries or concerns raised by IT stakeholders during all the phases of the Demand
• Understand the overall solution design during solution walkthrough session Provide recommendations

4. Data Lake Aggregate UAT validation-

• Validate and ensuring the logical changes are incorporated accurately.
• Validate the output with current business/DWH reported KPIs and ensuring all the analytical scenarios are covered.
• Aggregate table end to end validation wrt source and underlying data lake objects
• Highlight observations in the UAT performed to IT stakeholders and re perform UAT with rectified data points( in case of any deviation)
• Provide Signoff to IT team once the UAT is closed

5. Go Live communication and business users handholding-

• Ensure Aggregate objects are deployed within agreed timelines

• Apprise business stakeholders and handholding the business end users on the new changes

6. Organizing BI training sessions-

• Plan and conduct BI Trainings for business stakeholders on enhancements in the BI
• Identifying need of business users and training docket preparation
• Handholding the Business Users post training session

• Data Analysis capabilities
• Should have the expertise in SQL Programming
• Good Analytical and problem solving capabilities
• Should be able to assess the business requirements
• Should have good communication skills
• Should have Telecommunications background

Must have technical / professional qualifications

• Strong Business Intelligence experience
• Database Technology / strong SQL skills
• ETL & Reporting Tools knowledge (Tableau, Cognos, etc.)
• Experience in  Big Data/Hadoop technologies will be added advantage
