Job Purpose

IOT is driving the Internet of Things (IoT) by connecting machines, devices and objects to the internet, turning them into ‘intelligent' assets that communicate with the world around them. Vodafone Idea M2M opens up a new range of possibilities for our customers revolutionizing how they operate, how they grow and how they keep their customers happy. The M2M Project Manager will act as a single point of contact for our large Fortune 500 customer to implement enterprise solution, coordinating with cross functional teams of customer and VIL to ensure seamless customer experience

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities

  • Resident engineers for IOT for our customer who can help achieve better efficiency and productivity in their IoT journey
  • He will co-ordinate with customer teams during delivery and in-life contract for Analytics, Complex issues & consolidated track
  • Work closely in implementing the M2M solution provided with an ecosystem of device vendors, platform partners and application integration. , System integrator,  Service Delivery, Business team and Service operations
  • Define framework & Guidelines to improve current processes and increase awareness
  • Update Customer on performance reports on daily, weekly, monthly basis
  • Contribute in troubleshooting during testing phase
  • Reducing Customer and vendors involved end issue
  • Reviewing solution as per customer requirement. R
  • Relationship building with key stake holders in the account.
  • Consulting on all technical aspects within end to end IOT  & mobility solution especially  at Partner s / Customer level
  • Proactively support the Customer, Sales, Service and internal teams on technical related matters including  bids, proposals, Presentations, RFP/RFQ, customer complaint resolution and suggested product improvements
  • Create partner ecosystem for non-standard requirement and prepare documentation & training guides
  • Ensuring Uptime, SLA , TAT adherence & resolution control
  • Implement Service Improvement plans, change management
  • Controlling of Revenue Outflow for Service
  • RAG Analysis & Reporting -360 Degree Health card
  • End to end closure of customer complaint as per agreed SOP. Dashboard to be maintained with all the fault assigned.
  • MBR/QBR to be planned with internal team to review on the MOMs/RAG status

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience

  • 1-  Strong experience in Auto-motive industry domain
  • Knowledge of GSM, GPRS, EDGE, HSPA, LTE, 3GPP standards and mobile network components (GGSN, SGSN, MSC, HLR/CSDB, DNS, RADIUS, Diameter, SMSC) -their function and integration points.
  • Excellent communication skills including verbal, presentation, email and social interaction.
  • Customer relationship management skills with ability to interact comfortably at C- level.
  • Awareness of industry leading IoT platforms like PTC ThingWorx, AWS IoT, Microsoft Azure, GE Predix, or IBM Watson and industry trends
  • 5+ years’ experience with Large Scale Deployment of Industrial IOT or Embedded solutions.

Must have technical / professional qualifications

  • IOT end to end architecture (Sensors, Controllers, Actuators, Gateways, network/connectivity, communication protocols, web services)
  • Automotive Experience is preferable
  • Mobility network issues debugging and providing root cause analysis for every issue.
  • Able to read, interpret and analyse network/device/ server level logs (Wireshark/network analysis tools/Packet analysis tools)
  • Good Mobility and Devices (modem/embedded chipsets) HW and SW level knowledge.(programming/testing/debugging)
  • 2G/3G/4G network technology network stack and Network server’s knowledge (eNode, SGSN, GGSN, HLR, etc.)
  • Device side Modem chipset based OPEN AT framework, Android Framework, AT commands programming understanding and debugging knowledge. Embedded Devices, Real time OS(RTOS) , Programming knowledge is preferable.
  • Automotive vehicle network, CAN protocol knowledge is preferable
  • Network, Transport, Application security knowledge
  • Circuit switch and packet switch network understanding.
  • Public, Private Cloud architecture, infrastructure, packet core skillset is preferable
