Job Purpose

  • Execute the Enterprise commercial strategy by building market portfolios and propositions for Mobility, Fixed line and cloud products
  • Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders to generate new ideas and formulate commercial capabilities across products to create bundles and propositions
  • Manage, and Grow the Enterprise Device portfolio (including MiFi devices and Managed Mobility devices)
  • Partnership with OEMs, Service providers, leasing companies, creating new partners, and keeping an eye on the developments of the market trends and competition

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities

  • Market and Customer Insights – Collect and distil sharp actionable insights with help of insights team to keep a tab on customer opportunities, competition moves and create new alliances

 

  • Strategic Planning – Co-create the overall pricing strategy in line with competition and define market portfolios for all products aligned to it. Define road map for new commercial capabilities, models & propositions

 

  • Revenue Management – Align commercial teams to execute commercial policy to achieve overall revenue objective. Create guidance around market portfolio and tariff portfolio across all product lines. Engage in proposition pricing & go to market process

 

  • Product Management – Strong interface with Product, Finance and IT team to define commercial capabilities, models & propositions. Strong interface with VICSL, Finance, Segments to drive devices portfolio revenue and add new product SKUs basis the market insights gained. Feedback to product teams on competition activities and customer insights for new product development and process changes

 

  • Forecasting & inventory management – Align teams for forecasting device business, revenue management, inventory planning and liquidation plans for the devices business

 

  • Go-To-Market  – Create ready commercial bundles and models for speed and faster go to market. Engage with customer facing teams, hand hold and support cross functional teams as the devices champion

 

 

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience

  • Understanding of Enterprise buying behaviours and process
  • Business Planning and Financial modelling skills
  • Structured approach to decision making and ability to take calculated risks
  • Strong systems and process orientation

Must have technical / professional qualifications

  • B2B commercial experience
  • Degree in financial discipline preferred
  • MBA in Marketing/Finance (preferred but not required)
