Job Purpose

Business Support and Compliance (Corporate Functions)

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities

  • Business Proposal walkthrough with Business Lead to assess, analyze and recommend accounting and compliance aspects for various products
  • Collaborate with user functions to design and document process and controls to be followed for various products
  • Roll out the approved process including amendments, if any, to meet business, accounting and compliance requirements and ensure adherence of process by periodic reviews
  • Monthly and quarterly PAN India Revenue variance analysis basis product, competition, customer base and price dimensions
  • End to end implementation of Hyperion project in line with S4Hana implementation
  • Review, Analyze and assess the commercial agreements, propose and conclude on accounting treatment of significant contracts and impacts of the same on the financials.
  • Draft and roll out the processes to be followed for accounting and related compliance of such contracts and monitor adherence by periodic reviews.
  • Process improvement to ensure statutory compliance (Tax and Regulatory), timely collections and accuracy of accounting for all revenue products and related area
  • Analyse and review all updates relating  to Revenue Recognition and rollout amendments as applicable
  • Review and facilitate Corporate Finance approvals for revenue related transactions and NFA’s.
  • Audit SPOC for corporate support from other business and support functions to ensure seamless completion of audit for allocated business verticals.
  • Understand and implement the changes and development in IND AS by keeping track of ITFG bulletins and provide updates / briefing to the team.
  • Inform Reporting Head on key compliance requirements and updates from MCA, ICAI or other authorities WRT statutory reporting of financials
  • Collaborate with the business and SSC teams for development of required IT reports and successful completion of UAT for implementation of reports.
  • Represent Corporate reporting in Revenue related development/ key projects
  • Manage XBRL and other compliances under Companies Act/ required by MCA
  • Support in consolidation and migration activities
