Job Purpose

  • <span style="font-family:"Vodafone Lt",sans-serif">End to end ownership of deals and providing pricing support to segment sales team enabling profitable wins of large and complex deals
  • <span style="font-family:"Vodafone Lt",sans-serif">Coordinate and align stakeholders in case of strategic approvals and escalations
  • <span style="font-family:"Vodafone Lt",sans-serif">Ensure speedy approvals adhering to the commercial DOA and guidelines

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities

  1. <span style="font-family:"Vodafone Lt",sans-serif">Strategic Planning<span style="font-family:"Vodafone Lt",sans-serif"> –

<span style="font-family:"Vodafone Lt",sans-serif">Executing the overall pricing strategy and defined policies for all products aligned to it

<span style="font-family:"Vodafone Lt",sans-serif">Work closely with sales and segment teams and share regular win/loss analysis

<span style="font-family:"Vodafone Lt",sans-serif"> 

  1. <span style="font-family:"Vodafone Lt",sans-serif">Revenue Management<span style="font-family:"Vodafone Lt",sans-serif"> –

<span style="font-family:"Vodafone Lt",sans-serif">Provide pricing support  in line with commercial policy to achieve overall revenue objective

<span style="font-family:"Vodafone Lt",sans-serif">Take informed decisions and win profitably in the market

<span style="font-family:"Vodafone Lt",sans-serif">End to end ownership of large deals, bids and complex deals

<span style="font-family:"Vodafone Lt",sans-serif"> 

  1. <span style="font-family:"Vodafone Lt",sans-serif">Product Management<span style="font-family:"Vodafone Lt",sans-serif"> –

<span style="font-family:"Vodafone Lt",sans-serif">Liaison with  product, finance and solution teams to offer winning profitable price

<span style="font-family:"Vodafone Lt",sans-serif">Collaborate with cross-functional teams and create innovative commercial decision models which assesses risk, enables decision making and automates governance

<span style="font-family:"Vodafone Lt",sans-serif"> 

  1. <span style="font-family:"Vodafone Lt",sans-serif">Customer Management<span style="font-family:"Vodafone Lt",sans-serif"> –

<span style="font-family:"Vodafone Lt",sans-serif">Follow the Price books, guidance & commercial DOAs and support with speedy approval

<span style="font-family:"Vodafone Lt",sans-serif">Engage with customer facing teams, hand hold and support cross functional teams as required

<span style="font-family:"Vodafone Lt",sans-serif"> 

  1. <span style="font-family:"Vodafone Lt",sans-serif">People Management<span style="font-family:"Vodafone Lt",sans-serif"> –

<span style="font-family:"Vodafone Lt",sans-serif">Work closely with cross –functional teams like finance, product, solutions for case approvals

 

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience

  • <span style="font-family:"Vodafone Lt",sans-serif">Understanding of Enterprise buying behaviours and process
  • <span style="font-family:"Vodafone Lt",sans-serif">Business Planning and Financial modelling skills
  • <span style="font-family:"Vodafone Lt",sans-serif">Structured approach to decision making and ability to take calculated risks for large and complex deals
  • <span style="font-family:"Vodafone Lt",sans-serif">Strong systems and process orientation
  • <span style="font-family:"Vodafone Lt",sans-serif">At least 9 years of experience, of which minimum 2 years in corporate role or consulting role

Must have technical / professional qualifications

  • <span style="font-family:"Vodafone Lt",sans-serif">Degree in financial discipline preferred
  • <span style="font-family:"Vodafone Lt",sans-serif">MBA in Marketing/Finance (preferred but not required)
